At about 3:00AM last night I woke up from a horrible dream! I thrashed about my cage scaring the life out of Buttercup and we both crashed around squawking. Mommy launched up out of bed and turned on the light and came over to our cage and tried to calm us down. I was panting like crazing and my head feathers we STRAIGHT up and so were Buttercups. Mommy talked to us softly and pet my belly through the cage. After she was sure we wouldn't go psychotic if she stuck her hand in the cage she took me out and pet me and sang me my favorite song. (Icicle by Tori Amos) and let me sit on her bed with her. I stayed cuddled right up to her. Then she took out Buttercup and let her run around. (Buttercup isn't very affectionate, like me) Mommy stayed up with us until we calmed down then she put us in our cage and went back to bed.
*sniff* I love my mommy!

Buttercup has this string in her cage that I just LOVE to chew on! We're getting along ok..there are some times when Mommy gives her head scratches and I get a little upset and hiss and peck at her... and when she sits on my perch outside my cage...that really makes me mad...Grrr...but sometimes we get along...like her:

Guess what!! Buttercup is coming to live with Mommy and me!! See, Jennifer (Buttercup's mommy) just recently had a baby and she feels she's neglecting Buttercup so she called Mommy up and told her she'd sell her an antique brass cage, (very big and very pretty) and another big cage if Buttercup could come live with us. I'm so excited! ALL BUTTERCUP! ALL THE TIME!!!
